Harley Davidson Touring Slash Up Baffled Mufflers

The Harley-Davidson did start to became widely known when William Harley and Arthur Davidson produced last 1903 the first creation of motorcycle. The motorbike was created  in a little shed wooden with the name Harley-Davidson Motor company on the front door and had become the racing bike. When Harley-Davidson won the first race last 1905, they hired their first employee. Three years later, in 1908, Harley-Davidson sold the first motorcycle for use in police service to the Detroit Police Department. A 6 story factory was built in 1912. H-D exported their first bikes to Japan.
H-D entered the national racing circuit in 1914 and became known as “the wrecking crew”. By 1917 one-third of all motorcycles created would be sold to the military, and had also been the start of the Service School for Harley-Davidson Mechanics, for both military and civilian bikes.
Half of H-D motorcycles were shipped to Germany and were used for military service. The first Soldiesr that rode the motorcycle was Corporal roy holtz. 1920 spots the year that the motorcycle company is the greatest in the world in the motorcycle industry, and has over 2,000 dealers in 67 countries worldwide.
Except for the Indian Motorcyle Company, most of the competitors of Harley-Davidson got lost. The Indian and Harley-Davidson motorcycle company were the only two remaining motorcycle companies.
Because the world gets into into World War 2, so does Harley get back into Military motorcycle development, and the service school is flipped back to the military motorcycle service school, often known as the Quartermaster School for military mechanics. This was the time when the public had a difficult experience to get hold of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
